Elevator Upgrade

Princeton Engineering Services provided Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Engineering & Design Services for the Rocco Laurie School for the School District of New York. This project consisted of replacing the existing elevator along with its components such as the pump motor, pump and hydraulic valve, piston and cylinder assembly.

PES provided new electrical support for the elevator system – power distribution; Disconnect Switch for lighting; and branch circuits serving cars, machine rooms and Hoistway pits – in compliance NEC 620.22, 620.23 and 620.24, respectively. Replace lighting in elevator machine room to conform with new layout and increase lighting level. Replace lighting in pit with fluorescent type fixture. Replace all receptacles with new GFCI receptacles and all new wiring.
